This short three track, four tune EP was recorded for a submission requested of Colin Clark by The Smithsonian Archive late in 2011. The Archive is currently collecting recordings of young Appalachian style players from across the United States. Colin is representing the Rocky Mountain Region, and was selected among seven other young Clawhammer Players.
His submission attempts to instill the feeling of the quickly growing Colorado Folk Scene into these East Coast compositions in order to express his appreciation of all the great Colorado and Rocky Mountain Region Folk artists. Colin is honored to have been selected for this collection which will remain in the National Archives for future generations.
NOTE: This is a Not For Profit sound recording. These tracks are available here under a "Pay What You Want" basis. Please note that all profits and proceeds will go directly to The Smithsonian Folkways Foundation.

Thank you to Zack Dare for engineering these tracks. To my wife Michelle for putting up with a banj'ist. To my parents for instilling music in me from an early age. To Aaron Keim who made my custom Long Neck. To Todd Treadway for the gift of the Cigarbox Banjo used on Banjonique. And finally to The Smithsonian Archives for this amazing opportunity and honor.
